    I picked up a nice 89 XV250 on friday, going to use it as my daily driver back and forth to work. Great little bike and lots of fun to ride.

    75 mpg is a nice bonus

    check the pic in my gallery...sweet looking I think

    That is a good looking lightweight cruiser. I'll bet that it is a fun ride. Wouldn't be suprised if you end up getting more than 75MPG.

    thanks, yes it is nice looking, that's what first caught my eye.

    it is kinda fun to ride, completly different than the XJ...smaller, lighter.
    Seat is kinda uncomfartable after about 40 min in the saddle, but my ride to work is only about 15 min each way so it's not a deal breaker for me. the xj is for longer and fun rides anyway.

    I have ordered a 17 tooth front sprocket for it and I hope to see some small improvement in the mileage.
