    Howdy,

Just bought an 82 Seca 550 that has what the previous owner said was a Kerker 4 into 1 - not sure if it's actually a Kerker or not since there's no markings on it that I could see. But it looks to be in good shape, minimal (if any) rust or dents.

It's just a bit too loud for my tastes, and was hoping to find someone to do a straight up trade for a good condition OEM setup, or possibly my 4 into 1 + a little cash for the OEM (?).

The bike is at a friend's house, so I won't be able to get pictures or do the swap till this weekend. This is all contingent on my being able to actually remove the Kerker of course. I haven't spent any time wrenching on the bike yet, so I don't know if anything's going to break trying to get it off... ;) I know that's not a lot to go on, but figured I'd throw it out there.

I'm in southern NH, but work in Burlington MA if anyone wanted to meet up to do the trade.

    Thanks! Great site/forum BTW...

Good luck--I pulled a Kerker off my recently-acquired Seca 550 and spent a couple of MONTHS "eBaying" the stock parts. I can get you started--I ended up with an extra collector that is in quite decent shape you can have for cheap if you can't find a whole system and end up like me having to track down the individual components. The collector and head pipes are common with the Maxim so easier to find. The most difficult task was locating a decent set of mufflers without paying an arm and a leg. Send me a PM if you end up having to piece it together, I'll have your collector (I won't eBay it right away like I had planned.)

Got the bike home last night, and posted some pics of the pipe in my gallery - if anyone's interested... :)
