    As some may remember I have been battling a lean condition in my #3 cyl.

    FOund the problem after pulling the carbs and disassembling them about 10 times.

    Final jetting is stock 120/40. 2 3/4 turns on the screws. I found that 2 .030" shims on the needles helped the lean mid range, due to the exhaust mods.

    Still couldn't figure why #3 was still stupidly lean....

    Took the carbs out again and noticed the needle seemed to sit lower in the nozzle than the others........

    Pulled the #3 needle and found the plastic piece on top of the needle had slipped up! THis caused the needle to sit down another 1/8" into the nozzle!

    Repositioned the needle plastic piece and restaked it. Rode it and lo and behold, I HAVE A RUNNER!!!!!!!!!
