I recently bought a 82 seca 650 that the po had installed a 4 to 1 exhaust and pods on. Trouble is it's still running with the 110 main jets and 40 pilots. I've calculated that to get this thing running at optimum I should have 116 mains and 42 pilots but mikuni doesn't make jets like these anymore. I'm at a loss. I'm hoping Chacal will come to my rescue, but I could use any advice that's out there.

ok. After reading a little more on the forums it seems like the guys at my local bike store were wrong. They thought these were mikuni jets, but I guess OEM is Hitachi. I shouldn't be surprised since they were shocked that a main and pilot could look so alike. (They're young guys and have probably never cracked into a carb older than they are) I can't get too picky though, because being new to all this I didn't know the difference either. It appears like I should be able to get what I need from Chacal, but I'd still love to hear advice if anyone's got it.

Chacal should have them for you, if not - see if your local shop is a K&L Supply dealer. Can get a 5 pack of mains for sure, possibly pilots, from them for fairly cheap (why they sell them in a 5 pack who knows)

I drilled out my mains to 125 with a lathe and a drillbit, worked a treat.
