i need a picture

    Could someone so kindly take a few pictures I need for reference. Its on a 82 xj750. I need a shot from under the seat looking at the air box, and shot showing how the filter goes in, and lastly, a shot with a tape measure showing how big the air intake hole is. I would greatly appreciate it!

    yes, that is some help, but I still need to know how large the intake hole is on the lid above the filter.

    Thank you very much for the picture. I assume those measurements are in inches? Is there not a filter in your box? Also, just to verify, that is from an xj750 correct?

    the filter is just out of sight to the left of the hole
    i remember taking a tube/snorkel type thing out of some bike, i don't know if it was the yamaha or a kawasaki, maybe someone can verify

    There is a snorkel that fits in that hole from what I can remember. There must be... I have a couple sitting in my parts pile.
