how to repair broken float

    i read some where but could not find in search, looking for suggestions on how to fix the broken tabs that the float pins slide in, broke of trying to remove float pin. am trying to find a rebuild able carb but until i find one i need to fix the one i have. any suggestion appreciated. thanks grm

    No fixing that type of thing.
    Look up XJbikes member Chacal. He might have the part you're looking for and not too expensive.
    Just go to the Search function at the top of this page, type in Chacal. Open one of his messages and look at the bottom. There's should be a link to his website and a list of his various XJ carb parts.
