    :?: :?:
I just bought a new rear tire for my '82 XJ650.
I've pulled the pin that runs thru the wheel...now what?
I was easily able to pull the drum brake assy out of the wheel, but can't seperate the wheel from the diff.
I don't know what to do to seperate the wheel from the diff.
    Help quick!

It looks like you just need to move it to the right and disengage it from the differrential. and then pull it to the rear.
Be sure to keep all your washers and spacers in the correct order.
    Good luck.

why didnt you just say "kick it", came right off with one good kick.
And no all of that oil is not from removing the wheel...its from an oil change on the car in the background.

C'mon, Everybody knows if it won't budge to give it a kick. That's the first step after swearing at it and one step before throwing something at it.

7 years later this thread was helpful. I spend 10 mins pulling and wiggling to no success. Came in, searched, kicked, worked!
