Several months ago when I took the driving test for the motorcycle endorsement I noticed that when I stopped as absolutly fast as possible from around 20 mph that I could not keep the bike from stalling unless I gave it some gas right around 0 mph. I explained it up to dirty carbs that will be cleaned out this winter as the bike runs perfectly fine the rest of the time, the idle also got better after the addition of some Seafoam. I am now starting to think that the problem might also be the clutch cable as well. I don't have any creeping in 1st gear at stop lights but there is a little bit of a jump into 1st from neutral. Is there sufficient adjustment for this at the handlbar? or does the cable just need to be replaced?

    Hello,
Sometimes when I pull out of my yard into the street my bike dies.
I think my floats are adjusted a little too high. Could also be your problem when you stop suddenly the fuel sloshes and floods out the carb. Just an idea.

Could the problem be related to the clutch cable being too slack and causing the stall in combination with the sudden drop in rpm?
