I'm in the market for a headlight modulator and was wondering what others here have installed? I know about the DIY modulator listed here in the 'How-To' section, but I'm just going to buy one outright and install it.

So which one did you install?

I have used a Comagination headlight modulator on both of my bikes and wouldn't ride without it. Since installing one on my Venture in 2001, I have not had anyone pull a left turn in front of me in a dangerous fashion. Yes, it may be irritating for others, but if it helps them to notice me from a distance, it's worth it. Should be an insurance discount if you install one as well.

Same brand and feelings here - had one of the early modulators in 1980 called a firefly - they make a difference. Just plug it in and go.

Side note - I rode with the firefly for about 4 years with no incidents of "irritation" that I knew of. Had this one on the bike 2 days and had a guy pull over and wave me past. I do turn it off if it's dim light but not enough to make t turn itself off since I can be seen well but other than that I run it 100%.
