    Looks pretty cool.

That's either a big sticker or a ton of work!

you can get the same effect with a sand blaster on a low setting. I did that to alot of the chrome on my last bike... headlight is a good idea too

That's awesome! Tell me more about that light... It looks to me like the bulb has less fluting on the outer lens, which I think would make it brighter, no? Brighter than an older fashioned, more heavily fluted lens like my stocker that is..

but it's just a light i bought off ebay

    http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/rimiinc_W ... omZQQ_mdoZ

i need to adjust it a little still. i don't do alot of night riding really right nowbut i need to get it turned up a little to add some visability

the guy has a few different styles

but i didnt' take many pictures while i was doing it sadly.partly cause of using acid so touching my camera wasn't a great idea. but i bought glass etching cream at hobby lobby, probably could be found at any hobby store. then you lay out vinyl contact paper and cut the design and peal out what you want to etch. the stuff stays on only for like 5 minutes and you get a design that will never wear off or chip unless you break the lense

That looks pretty cool, i may try and do something like that in the future, about how much does it cost at Hobby Lobby, and is it a kit or did you have to buy contact paper etc seperate?

it was separate. and that store is such a cluster f**k i was wondering around forever trying to find the stuff. it was like 18 for the etching creme. but i got the big bottle of it cause a friend of mine said he might be interested if i could get it to come out well. and the smallest roll of contact paper i found was like 18" X 6' so i could do like 40 of these

i also did this bottle to test it out before the headlight

and i don't know why it's sideways like that

LOL that's awesome you have a new home based business on your hands now!

I went ahead and got a new sealed beam assembly myself it is WAY nicer than my sad old stock light! Thanks for the motivation! I spent $18 and feel like it's at least 50% brighter, so far with no ill effects.
