    yeah, i tried switching the wires up. with three wires there are a total of 6 wiring possibilities. 2 of the 6 combinations ground out the bike...

    i used the speedometer from an '85-"88 yamaha fz 750. it is accurate and goes up to 145. if you find one from an '85-'88 fz 600, it will go to 135.
