    I just bought an 82 xj650 maxim it had 943 miles on it when I bought it first thing I did was change all the fluids tires and brakes.no...

    brake system and tires were replaced first thing carbs were opened but not thoroughly cleaned

    I got it with 940 miles on it checked final drive and changed the oil in it bike is completely stock

    I have an 82 xj650 maxim the speedo goes to 85 I was wondering if there was a governor or so.ething I could remove to push another 20 mph out of it
