    That makes sense. Oops! Can't help ripping through those gears. About that cap I looked at bikebandit.com and they had a replacement for $8.54...

    I have noticed this twice so far. I have only had my 81 650 maxim for about a month. The oil has seeped out of the vent on the final drive twice...
