Coil 1 and 4 had the removable carbon insert had no ohms ..cleaned them up, removed the carbon and made steel instead .... now no resistance on...

A pain to pull that switch... decided to drain the oil some sludge on the drain plug... (clutch) the new oil has just done 300 miles...put two...

Well after a run out without brass filter it was a lot better 60 mph 70 mph I could tell the difference winding it to full I felt a bit lag then...

Yeah i made sure them tiny holes were clear in the emulsion tubes twice...no its not dropping a cylinder i dont feel that.... its like i am towing...
Let me explain, got throttle at 7k rpm and up.. rpm does not drop at all, speed goes up giving more gas, this feeling is like fuel on fuel off...
No rpms do not go up clutch not slipping
Still got the surge after 6k ...using sea foam now ... used propane no vac leaks, spark plugs not rich or lean......runs perfect at idle...
got some fel-pro gasket today it was 31 thou thick before compressed... on 1 and 2 the rubber ring was as hard as the outside, straight edge...
Last chance lol... going to make thicker gaskets and use RTV ..seems like a lot of 650 owners recommend RTV ..could pull there carbs off...
looks like i made a big mistake getting these boots. :( now have vacuum leak right where it bolts to the head..... got to get the 1980 model year...
Paid $22 bucks for these wrong boots only used two of them/gaskets/clamps ...lets see how they hold up to the gas additives.... got two spare if...
