    I went back in and checked the brush wires.... nice shiny copper. While I was there I checked the rotor resistance at the rings. Only .8 ohms!...

    Has anyone built a custom gauge cluster of their own?

    In Wisconsin bikes over 10 years old are exempt from reporting mileage. Don't know for sure if that means you can remove the odometer tho.
