’89 XJ900f - Speedo trouble

Hey!

Got some speedometer troubles with ’89 XJ900.

Trip and odometer are working but the speedometer needle isn’t moving.

Turn signals aint working either when riding unless I keep the switch held left or right. Works fine when parked, so I assume the auto cancel is causing that due speedo not working.

Lights on the speedo aint working either, if that has something to do with it (assuming it’s just a burnt bulb tho)

Any tips where to start troubleshooting?

Lights not working check bulbs and connector blocks in headlight shell. Try disconnecting the self cancel unit to see what effect it has on the indicators.

I removed the cancel unit and it fixed the issue, thanks!

Speedo started working on its own after couple hundred kilometers so I guess the needle was stuck or something.
