For Sale 1982 XJ1100

Too many projects. Would like to see this go to someone who will finish it properly. I have about $800 invested in it. Would just like to get my investment back if possible. I have an OEM factory service manual. The engine spins freely but I have not put gas to it and tried to start it yet. The carbs were supposedly rebuilt when it was parked and have been dry since, so they should be in good shape. Seems like all the parts are there but it will need to be put back together somewhat. The PO swapped out the forks for XS forks (I do have the original forks) and started disconnecting the linked brakes (he didn't like that feature). It seems like all the original brake parts are with the bike. I have a number of extra parts to go with the bike, ie: extra set of gauges, new grips with throttle tube, extra gas tank and miscellaneous small parts. The gas tank on the bike is in good shape and both petcocks have new rebuild kits in them. Both tires have lots of tread on them but they are old so should be replaced before the bike is put on the road. Tag is good till September 2017 and the Title is clear (that cost me about $300 ).
