    on off switch ? do you mean the run/kill switch on top of the control or the ignition switch?

    whats wrong with yours they can both be taken apart and cleaned be carful with the run/kill switch there is a small ball bearing in there that will fall out when you take it apart.

    It was the off/run/off switch. I had cracked the top of it by accident but all is well because I had an old one that I was able to take parts from.
