1982 XJ750 Maxim square cross section handlebar adjustment

    '82 XJ750 Maxim.. Square cross section handle bars. Can't figure out adjustment. Haynes Manual only referred to tubular type. Youtube had no results that I could find. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

    You will need a 5 mm allen wrench to take the big flat decorative bolt out at the base of each handlebar then you will need a 6 mm allen to take the pinch bolt out just underneath the big flat head bolt on each handlebar. Now you can wiggle or pry each side up and off. You can use a straight edge to make them square.
