Selling my baby. Here's the scoop. 1982 Yamaha Maxim 650. Front forks, rim and brakes from a 1986 Yamaha FZ600. Forks have new Yamaha oil and dust seal, progressive springs and were powder coated black. New brake shoes and the master cylinder was sonically cleaned. Clubman handlebars, powder coated black, with a bikini fairing from a 2008 Triumph Thruxton. Gas tank was powder coated black and lined with Kreem. Dyna Hi-perf coils with taylor sumax 8mm wires and NGK plug caps. Top end rebuild two years ago witha valve job and the head was shaved .20". K&N air filter, 4-1 mac exhaust, Barnett clutch kit, blade style fuse box installed with lighter style plug for charging cell phones and such. New battery beginning of this riding season, two seats, one shaved down, one stock, aftermarket cat eye turn signals and teardrop style brake light. Rear fender, both rims, and many other parts powder coated black, both tires brand new, front is Bridgestone Battlax and the rear is a Bridgestone Spitfire, rear brakes are new, new bearings in front and rear wheel and steering head. Cruiser style hand grips, foot pegs from a 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M109R, Shocks and muffler from a 2007 Harley Sportster. Custom made highway pegs powders coated black and added grip strips. Damn near everything is brand new or recently been replaced, I ride this bike a lot but take very good care of it. Comes with extra starter, TCI box, seat, Haynes Manual, brand new carburetor to engine boots, and even a 1983 Yamaha XJ900 engine with only 22,000 miles on it with oil cooler. Oh yeah clutch, brake, and throttle cables are new as well. Great bike, pretty fast, and reliable as hell! hate to see her go but I got my eye on another bike.
I am asking $3000 (but will negotiate) for all I have listed and some other parts I have lying around. Let me know if you are interested. IM me or call 701-799-0771.
Thank you I have many more pics if you want them.
