1983 XJ750 Midnight Maxim Vetter Quick Silver Bracket

    Howdy from Bill in Helena, Mt.

    I am new to your forum and just purchased a 1983 XJ750 Midnight Maxim. I quit smoking two years ago (after 39 years Whew) and found I had some extra funds so I picked up the same bike I had back in the 80's while on active duty in the Navy (CTRC Retired 22 years).

    I am looking for a Vetter Quicksilver Bracket for my 1983. I know they stopped making the brackets in 1982 and hope that bracket will work for my 1983 ???? I see a couple of Quick Silvers on ebay but they have incorrect brackets.

I let my endorsement go when I retire from the Navy and settled back in Montana. Its been a while since I rode so a little practice is in order. At 63 going on 64 next month I am up to the challange.
