1983 XJ900 SECA Help

Hey can anyone tell me the history and specs of the XJ900 SECA i just bought one and don't know really anything about them, i've always dealt with british bikes. Anyhelp would be apprechiated. Thanks

 

DOHC, 8 Valve, 853cc, 97hp (claimed). Sold only 1 year in North America, replaced the following year with the FJ1100. Sold up till 1993 in many other parts of the world. Getting hard to find. High mileages possible with adequate maintenance. Pretty reliable and fuss-free bike. Very comfortable for long haul rides. Rumoured to have a tendency to speed wobble above 100 mph, due to flexible fairing oscillating with the wind at high speeds, but I never had any problems with mine up to 130mph, although I did have new shocks on mine which probably helped. Electric tach can take a few miles to wake up sometimes, but it never seems to fail outright. The clock is an underappreciated feature! Tank capacity is good for 300+ km's, or 200 miles at highway speed. The tank had a tendency to rust out near the very lower back edge due to water collecting there if it sat for a long time. I wish I still had mine, it was a classy, smooth bike that you didn't see every day.
