Originally a 1985 Maxim-X 750cc, this bike has been rebuilt the ground up. Stripped to the bare frame, it was totally sandblasted prior to customizing. The engine had about 40k on the odometer and has an additional 9k since completion 3 years ago. All the engine covers were removed and chromed, along with the front end lower shocks, gas cap, brake calipers, brake reservoir, and carburetor bowls. The front end was replaced with an AME engineered triple tree which raked the bike an extra 9 degrees plus 4" longer in downtube length. The rear shocks were replaced with Progressive 412 11" Rear Shocks that have also lowered the bike to give it that low rider look. The brake lines are stainless steel. The gauges were replaced by an Acewell Digital Gauge with a functioning gas gauge as well. The original bike did not have a fuel gauge so this is an additional modification. The 12" ape hangers and 4" risers add to the bike's profile. The wiring has been completely overhauled and routed inside the handle bars. There are floorboards on the forward controls as well as a heel-toe shifter. The seat has been completely rebuilt and re-upholstered. New signal lights replaced the stock ones and the brakelight is LED. The wheels were sandblasted and then polished to a high gloss aluminum finish. The bike was custom painted with a deep black cherry metallic pearl paint and 6 coats of clearcoat. A unique red stripe appears in the finish in the sunlight. A windshield and custom mirrors and fork pouch round out the look. The ride is excellent and the handling superb. It has been highly maintained and will be ready to ride in the next biking season complete with brand new rear tire. Price is negotiable, but I won't look at trades either. Sorry. Price is $5000 obo.

I didn't see "adjusted valve clearances" in the list.

    Just asking...
