1985 XJ700 for sale... Central IL $1200

Alright folks, this isn't my bike, and I know little about it - but enough to peak interest.

It's a stock 700 - the carbs were professionally rebuilt a couple years ago, but it's sat (for the most part) every since. It fires up and runs down the road, but it sounds like the enrichment circuit could use a cleaning.

Everything is straight and true, and I was told "there are a couple dings in the paint, but nothing too major." Kind of a burnt orange, if I recall.

This is my wife's best friend's husband - a stand up guy, and I'm sure he'd tell me what he knows. He got his XJ about the same time I got my 650 "back when." I went the shadetree route, he took it to pros to get it running (his was running a little before mine, haha).

They are going to send me some pictures, and I'll post them for anyone who is interested. He's asking 1200, but we probably have some wiggle room.
