Hi. I have my Maxim for 3 months now. It works perfectly, starts in second or two, but two weeks ago I got my oil indicator on when I started after red light on a very steep hill. I could not stop immediately (was looking for place to move from the road), and it went off. When I was parking (also steep driveway, and I have to park in reverse) it blinked once more. I added a little bit of oil (really small amount), but it happened again day before yesterday, again while parking (had some troubles getting it to the right position, so there was a lot of sudden forward-backward moving). Again it just blinked and went off, so I'm now worried a bit.
Any ideas what might cause this? As I said, other than this, she's perfect.

Did you check the oil level in the sight glass? extreme angles such as hills might be enough to have the oil pool away from the sensor causing the light to go on and off if the oil level is a little low.
