When I am going full throttle and sometimes at a little less, my bike touches 2nd gear, then goes back into neutral and is really annoying because I end up revving my engine instead of accelerating. What could the problem be?

Look at my new pics and tell me if you like my new paint, tires, and handlebars.

I had a similar type problem that I am currently trying to fix. I found that my shift forks were bent and damaged and also my gears were worn pretty bad. It sounds to me like your shift forks are damaged and therefore getting stuck while shifting.
Try shifting into 1st while hitting the rear brake. That should make it easier to shift into 2nd if you have a fork issue

Check to see if it's just your clutch cable that needs adjusting, RickOmatic has a real good thread about how to adjust it, might be worth searching for and reading, ya never know...... :)
