Not just a 550; a SECA 550, rarer yet. Thanks for posting that; there're a couple of members looking for one right now.

I won it! Woo-hoo! It may need to be rechromed, but I was in need of an original exhaust.

    MoralDK, thanks for posting it.

    Ummm... forget re-chroming.

Every single plater I've talked to won't touch USED motorcycle exhaust parts; there's no way to get them clean enough inside to ensure not "polluting" a $3000 tank of plating chemicals.

The only guy I found who said he'd do it wanted $1200 for TWO head pipes (in case he had to replace his chemicals.) He obviously didn't really want to do it. If you find someone, be sure to share.

Jet-Hot coating (a high-temp variant of powder coating) is about the only option besides paint.

That set looks like it should clean up nicely though.

Oh, and check the numbers on the headpipes when you reassemble it. The seller has them all mixed up; I could tell by the angles on the EGA plugs. The pipes are numbered, "4G0-1" "4G0-2" etc. The "-" numbers are what pipe it is.
