It's a complete loss. I'll help you out though, take it off your hands for no charge. You pay shipping.

    Just kidding.

Put your location in your profile. One of us might be your neighbor. Also bike specifics in your signature line.

Something wrong in the float bowls. Either bad float, level set too high, bad needle/seat or - float just stuck from carting them around. Rap each float bowl sharply with the handle of your screwdive. If stuck, this will solve the problem.

If fuel is running out with the bike turned off you also have a problem at the fuel valve. It's not on PRI is it? Should be on RUN or RES except when you need to fill the bowls after they've been drained.

ALSO - IF FUEL WAS RUNNING OUT WHEN NOT RUNNING YOUR OIL IS LIKELY CONTAMINATED. Do not run the engine until the problem has been solved and the oil and filter changed.

    Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard Chad, MiCarl has given you sound advice. Sounds like a hung float or a stuck fuel selector. Follow the bouncing ball he outlined and you should be alright.

YEE HAW! Lima just down the road.

    Welcome aboard neighbor.

Someone else in here from Toledo (although he didn't respond to my Western Lake Erie invitation in the Eastern US forum, Cough, Cough).

    Help is in the neighborhood.
