I have been tracking the progress of a lot of these awesome builds as of late. I must say I'm completely and utterly impressed with all the cool stuff hapening out there on these bikes. I was given this bike by a neighbor who had owned it since 1989 with the intentions of fixing it up. The PO (before the guy I got it from) layed it down in a high speed chase with the police. No real damage to speak of, but there were a few bad and or missing parts. I'm one of those do-it-your-self types that loves a challenge. So, I started the process of refurbishing a bike that had run in almost 18 years. To make a long story short, I have an awesome bike with only 7,200 origional miles. A couple of $$ and a whole lot of time, and this is what we have! Thanks to all those who helped out so much!!!!

7200 MILES?? It's barely broken in! Nice find. Looks like a fun run-around!
