    Just thought I'd share with my xj folks. Around 8/25 I bought it off a friend/co-worker for $300, 54k with a clear title. He bought a '82. I'm converting it from a Interstate to a Standardish. I'm keeping some of the chrome and the trunk/rack. I've joined the Classic Goldwings Forum so I won't start a build thread here. I'll post a pic here when it's done. Finish date s/b around 8/25/2017. Still lots to do. Here's a pic the day I got it.

    A guy at work stripped down an 82 gl, it's a damn good looking bike. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
