    Hi All,
Im looking for a 1981-1983 Seca 750 Dash bezel with good glass and paint for my 81 750 Seca.
I took mine apart so I could paint the metal under the glass because it started getting some surface rust and I broke the glass trying to get it apart!
So now I know you cant possibly take them apart - they are glued and sealed all the way around to prevent water from getting inside through the glass.
Does anybody have one that they want to sell?
I dont need any of the gage's unless its the only way I can buy the bezel.
I would like to find one that is in good condition if anybody knows where there is one could you please email me at my email address below.
Send some pic's and a price + shipping cost! Zip 14886 Central NY.
Warm weather is coming, Gotta get this baby back together! :)
Thanks I really appreciate any help!

I'd offer up mine but the bezel is shot. I don't care if my bezel is cracked. Can it be glued back together?

There isn't any fix to mine - I shattered the glass trying to push on it to get it apart so I could paint the rusty looking metal behind the glass.
I need to replace it with another whole dash cover.

Lawnie, I wanted to do the same thing to my gauge cluster! Sorry to hear that it broke on you, but now that it's broken can't you take it apart further and replace the glass? I would make a cardboard pattern to fit and go to a glass shop, get one made to fit, and glue it in place. I haven't taken mine apart and the parts diagram doesn't show the inside details of the cover assembly, so I can't tell if this is feasible.

    Hi Nick,
I tried to get it the rest of the way apart inside behind the glass but they had it glued all the way around the frame of the plastic and it broke into peice's - Although if I had not broke it so bad - Your idea would work out excellent...! Thank you for the tip Nick!
Do you still have that dash that is pictured? Are you selling it? How good is the paint under the glass? How much would you want for it if its for sale?
Not sure I want to try to take another one apart so I am hoping to find a nice one.
    Take care bud!

    Hi Lawnie,
The gauge cluster is the one that I need for my bike, sorry! It has the same rusted look to the metal under the glass as you were trying to fix. After what you just went thru I don't know if I want to try and paint mine, at least not at the moment!
    Happy hunting for parts!

    Hi All,
I am new here, but this post caught my attention because we just did a project for a customer that came in to our shop asking if we could laser cut him a new bezel for his instruments.
No problem! We had the old (broken) glass one as a pattern.
We have the pattern in the computer now and can cut as many of them as are needed.
The ones we laser cut for the customer were 1/16" lexan, and one that was acrylic. They are not as scratch resistant as the glass, but they also do not shatter if you tap them the wrong way.

I am happy to pass one on to any member of the group for just the cost of the material and shipping.

Should be less that $10.00 anywhere in North America.

    Peter.
