For Sale '81 XJ 650 Maxim in Minneapolis - MUST SELL!

I've bought many bikes at this time of year for ridiculous prices from desperate or impatient sellers. I can't believe that I'm doing this myself, but...

My life no longer permits me much (any) time for tinkering with cycles or even riding. I need to get rid of my '81 650, ...which I love. This thing goes like a mother, and I have rebuilt almost every part of it. Here's what I remember:

• Carbs - completely rebuilt including throttle shaft seals
• Forks
• Brakes - front caliber, master cylinder, pads, shoes, new SS brake lines
• Petcock
• Cables
• Hoses
• Brand new tires - Basically driven around the block once
• Tank - never been lined/sealed and doesn't leak; Has a number of pits and flaws in the finish
• Seat Cover - Replaced with new Saddlemen(?) cover
• Engine - Did not open, but replaced all gaskets, etc.
• Aluminum - spent a lot of time polishing up the rear grab bar, forks, foot peg brackets, etc.
• Battery - probably 5 years old or more, but has been keep inside and on a trickle charger

Pretty much all of the parts were purchased from XJ4Ever.

So what's wrong with it, you ask? Not much. There is a pesky fuel level problem with the #2 carb that I did not have enough time to fix. Also, the new SS brake lines have been installed but not bled out.
