:D Picked myself up an 81 xj550 maxim with only 11000 miles on it two months ago in pretty good shape for 900 bones. It started out a cheap black paint job. I decided, since being a medically retired army vet (tho I'm only 25, hooah haha) with alot of free time on my hands, I would first paint it. What colors you ask? OD Green and black. I liked it, alot, unfortunately it had a chemical spill on the gastank so I had to primer it and then, since apprenticing in a custom bike shop, I decided, f it, Imma bob it out. I did this mock up, to give myself a general idea, but I just ordered slightly higher swept back bars, mini speedo with all my lights on it, mini tack, solo seat. and a 7.5 inch rear fender. The only thing i need help with is if maybe someone has a picture of how they altered the rear of the frame (not the swingarm) to change the angle to have it sweeping back into the rear fender. I'm going to put a passenger pad on it so i just need a bit of help.
