'81 XJ750 Has 4 Cycles Again!

    ...Finally after a month of worrying and cursing my bike runs. What a relief. Great learning process too.

    After overcomplicating things I finally narrowed down my no-spark issue to bad connections at the plug caps. Shaved a few mm off, replaced the plugs, filled with premium fuel, changed all fluids, charged the battery fully and crossed my fingers. It sputtered and backfired and then took hold - bike is actually running great after being in storage for almost 2 years!! The carbs were over-hauled by PO...

    Going for a test run and expecting to learn a lot more, it's ALL good. Thank you all for your advice...
