    Hi,
I'm new to this and this is my first post and first bike in more then 20 years.
I have a question if anyone could answer for me?
My 81 xj750 seca has the duel front brakes with the anti-dive unit. I was wondering if it would be ok to seal off the anti-dive unit and just run it with standard dual front brake till I can save money to rebuild them. I just got the bike and want to get riding. I do know that it will not handle as the factory intended but I think it would be ok for the summer and I can rebuild them over the winter. Any thoughts?

Hello Paiva..why do you want to negate the anti dive? if theres a problem with it there could be other brake / fork related problems... back brakes is another age / time related issue. Before getting on mine after 15 years i did a lot of maintenance and checking ...wanted to be sure it goed and stopped. It was time and money well spent.
