82 750 maxim air box n pipe

    if i install air box on carbs and a exhaused pipe like on the bike not sure the nam e of owner its the bike that says on the tank,, designed in a pub built in a shed.seen that pipe on jc whitney .would i have to chane jets in carbs. cause of not enough back pressure.

    Possible but hard to say. Different exhausts have different characteristics, you would have to tune the bike to account for any deviation from stock specs. No easy way to swallow that pill I'm afraid. Of course (hope springs eternal), you could simply luck out and get that one-in-one hundred exhaust type that is completely compatible with stock jetting. Here is to hoping. One thing is certain, you will need to keep and eye on your plugs for a while. At least until you have verified the compatibility of the exhaust with the rest of your fuel management circuit.
