82 maxim 750

i have an 82 maxim 750 with engine gaurds and highway pegs with bout 36000 miles on it. it now has a nos seat to go with it with one that i use for general riding that has a few rips in it. i bought it in jan of 07. and have put bout 400 or 500 miles on it. the valve cover needs to be replaced as it sprays the left leg a little. its not bad but still leaks.
there is a backrest with luggage rack on it right now.
i want 1000 dollars for it without the backrest and 1200 with backrest. i live close to 70 miles north of syracuse ny and 30 miles south of canada near kingston ont.

this is an interest ad. if someone wants it i'll sell but i'm firm on price.

title clear, and it is reg and insured at this time. tires are ok, still have life left in them. all sensors on it work and computer does work.

 

am i asking to much?

 

the gasket is getting fixed at a dealer this weekend. how much could/should i be able to get for the bike?

 

What is the market for a similar bike in your area? Time of year, vehicle condition, demand etc... all add up to tell you if your asking price is too much or too little. For me, its because your just too far away to be of serious interest (that and I've two already).
