82 SECA 550 FRONT SPACER DIMENSIONS

    Ok, I have been putting this bike back together and thought I would be riding this week. Just discovered the spacer on the right side front is missing. My buddy says he can turn one out at work in no time, IF I can get him the correct dimensions. I could order one but don't want to wait another 10 days. Can anyone get me the correct overall length, the length of the narrow part against the wheel, and length of the wider shoulder. Also looking for both correct outer diameters, and inside. He says he could also make it out of brass, steel, or aluminum. Any thoughts on going with aluminum instead of steel.
