I was just given a 1982 XJ750 Maxim that was laid down on it's right side.

Though everything is still working on the bike the speed-tach gauge cluster and the headlight bucket are busted. The gauge cluster is being held back togther by duct tape and the headlight bucket has a 1 1/2 - 2 inch chip out of it. So both being no longer water tight makes these my priority replacements.

So, my question is, do I have any years "play" in looking for these parts? Will-say a 81's parts work? Also, will a 1982 XJ750 Seca parts work? (I found a headlight bucket off of a Seca but not sure if it will work on the Maxim.)

    Thanks!
