'83 Seca 550 Enrichener Plunger - OK or Not OK?

    My Seca 550, after I got done cleaning the carbs, was still running rich in #1 and #2. Float levels (checked wet) were bang on. Running the idle adjustment screws all the way in STILL left soot on the plugs. I had backed the master idle speed screw all the way out and adjusted the 4 mixture screws to get the bike to idle, but still would foul #2 and soot up #1.

    So, I've got the carbs off again and am being a bit more fussy trying to find the problem.

    So, this is the enrichener plunger from #1. See the 'dent' in the rubber seat area? Is this normal? Is this needing to be replaced?
