83 seca 750 forkseal help?

    So i am doing the seals on my 83 seca 750 with the antidive B.S.. And i am having trouble . i have the wheel fenedr and brakes disaembled. As well as dusct cover,clip,and white thing that sits behind the clip removed. Also the alan bolt at the bottom is removed. So why on earth will the lower leg not seperate from the tube???

    Because the upper bushing is a snug fit. You'll need to use the upper fork leg like a slide hammer to drive it, and the oil seal, out. Grab the lower in one hand and the upper in the other and slide the two apart with some force. Be careful as the seal starts to come out that you don't us so much force that the forks fly apart.

    K so i figured it all out. And for any future readers if you do not want to read/or buy a manual here are a few tips.
    1. Take the air valves off of the forks.
    2. Fully remove the forks from the tripple trees.
    3. Build some seal setters out off pvc,(u will need them)
    4. After you take the old seal out i suggest practice fully reasembling the whole thing. So u don't break your bran new seal like i did. lol
