83 Virago XV500 - Any comments?

    I want the good/bad/ugly. I have the chance to pick one up reasonably cheap that needs carb work and new master cylinder.

    Anyone have any experience with this model? Tnx

    at the risk of being blown up..stay away from the early viragos

    bad carbs
    bad starters

    the inline 4 yamahas always were and still are the best of the crop
