83 XJ750K Petcock

    Is this the original petcock to an 83 XJ750K? If it is, is there a rebuild kit for it? I pulled it out of my tank but it's missing a filter/ tube. I'm the original owner but can't remember if it was ever replaced.

    Yes but yamaha used a few different petcocks over the years , probably to use up stock , agree with Franz xj4ever should have the rebuild kit .

    Sorry to disappoint, but...........that is NOT an original petcock for any of the original XJ series.
