    How about the rpm
    What should the standard rpm at idle be
    I have mine set at approx 1000

    My 86 Maxim X idles nicely at approximately 1000-1100. I don't know if there is a standard or recommended value but it seems to work well.

    1050 is what the service manual says,mine is at 950-1000.
