85 XJ700 & 89 XJ700, same carbs?

    Don't think there was an '89 XJ700, unless it was some weird Canadian thing.

    700's were only made in 85 and 86. Air heads use Hitachi and water-cooled use Mikuni.

    The carbs for an 85 will work on an 86 and visa versa. The only difference I noticed were the extra vent hoses on the 85 carbs.
