85 xj700 Voltage Regulator question

    I have a 85 xj700 that was not charging so I pulled out the voltage regulator. I found that the red wire was corroded and had actually separated from the connector. The regulator says that it's a 12A-233 regulator. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct regulator?
    I have 2 Seca's and the regulator on them are completely different, I also have several Radian's and they use this regulator but they have completely different CDI boxes and engines.
