    Question for XS/XJ ers
Anyone know if the tank badges for the '82 XS would fit the '82 XJ ???
They look the same but I know looks can be deceiving b/c some (as have been discussed here already) such as from Reproduction Decals are a slightly different size. The ones I'm looking at are NOS. I'm almost to the point of painting (after a few more critical running parts first)
    ???
    thanks

I believe if the holes are in the same place they should work. I used '80 XJ650 badges (still avail from Yamaha and Chacal has them) on my 550 Seca(s) and they pull right down the "molded in" curvature difference is so slight. Don't spend too much, if I remember Chacal gets about $23 apiece...

Lemme check for you. Are you putting them on a Seca 650 or 750 tank?

    Thanks, guys.
It's a 650rjc (with a 750 engine) but pretty sure all the body parts are xj650rj

'Kay... My 650 Seca tank doesn't have the mount for the badges. Presumably they just used the stick-on ones? But I did hold some XS650 badges against the tank in the approximate location and the shape of the badges seemed to match the contours of the tank fairly well.
