Just wanted to introduce myself, and more importantly say thanks for all the help.
I have been lurking here since early April when I became the proud new owner of a 82 750 Seca. I got the bike for nothing as it had been sitting behind a garage in the weather for the last decade. The bike was pretty much complete, but in need of fork seals, front brakes, front fender, a mirror and a few odds and ends.

I'm sure I would still be trying to get the bike up and running, or long since given up on it if not for all the great info, and tips I have gleened from this forum. Every bug or gremlin that has come along has had a solution posted here. Every item I have needed to adjust, rebuild or replace has been covered in great detail.
This forum is a wonderful resource, much more valueable than the Haynes manual that I bought.

Personal stuff, well I'm 50 plus, wife, three grown kids, dog, all the usual stuff.

thought I would try to post a pic of my work in progress, now that it runs well it is my daily driver. I look forward to better weather comming up.

I will try to get the bike into better cosmetic shape this winter, for now I'm just going to ride and enjoy the bike, and the 40+ mpg.
