    today i upgraded. its sad to see my xj go but im happy to say i bought another yamaha 20 years newer and a third as many miles. i got a great deal on my 650 v star but there were a few issues that needed to be taken care of all of which are now taken care of but one. i am one hundred percent stumped on this one and although its not an xj all the help you guys can give me is more than appreciated. when this bike is cold it runs perfect but once it starts to warm up the idle jacks up and whenever i rev it it stays up but when i pop it into neutral the idle returns to its rightful place. now what in the world could cause something like that to happen. dirty carbs? clutch issues? all i can say is im stumped
