I just wanted to offer an open note of thanks for everyone that helped me get my X running. I was happy to have had the chance to put a non-running XJ back on the road. It was a hard decision, but I decided to sell it and move to a newer bike.

I rode an '07 Sportster that someone had already spent a fair amount of money customizing and loved it. It was set up exactly how I would have wanted one, so it was a perfect fit. The rest is as they say... history.

Prior to my X, I had been away from bikes for 20 or so years. It will always hold a special place in that it confirmed I still love bikes. Maybe at a later point in my life, I'll pick up another XJ to put back on the road when I have a little more time on my hands.

Thanks guys and gals. This site is outstanding.

Sportsters are pretty nice bikes from what I have heard. Enjoy!
